Preamble

This charter – “The Charter” has been drawn up in order to define the company’s commitments in regard to data protection and to specify how the General Data Protection Regulation – “GDPR” is implemented within CODiLOG,

The Company provides information on the processes used to collect personal data, their use and the options available to the data subjects. 

The Company complies with the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (known as “GDPR”), a European regulation applicable since May 25, 2018 for the Member States of the European Union.

Data collected within the company

We collect personal data from our users in order to provide the services they have subscribed to.

Consent

The Company does not collect any personal data without obtaining the express consent of the data subjects and providing prior information, particularly with regard to the type of data collected, its purposes, the person responsible for its processing, and the various rights that the persons from whom the data originated are able to exercise over it.

Cookies

The Company’s sites and services may issue cookies. They allow the device in question to be recognized each time it accesses digital content containing cookies from the same issuer. They allow services to function efficiently, and to remember preferences. However, users are able to delete the cookies stored on the login device in order to permanently remove the information they contain.

The obligation to inform and respect consent

The Company guarantees data subjects the right to access, correct and opt-out of the processing of their data that already existed before the application of the GDPR. It also guarantees the right to limitation of processing, the right to be forgotten, the right to data portability and the right to erasure of data.

Purposes of the data collected

Only data that is necessary and relevant to the purposes pursued is collected, in compliance with the principle of proportionality, in order to improve the quality of the products or services that the Company offers.

Use of the data collected

The Data collected by the company is processed for the purpose of performing operations on the contents of the service. This use is based on one of the following legal grounds provided by Law:

  • The protection of the legitimate interests of the company,
  • The performance of a contract entered into or the fulfillment of a commitment,
  • Compliance with a legal or regulatory requirement,
  • Protection of the public interest, such as the prevention or detection of fraud or financial crime.

Under no circumstances will data be processed in a way that is incompatible with these purposes, unless prior consent is obtained.

Data security

Personal data collected by the Company will not be transferred, rented or exchanged with third parties, with the exception of the Company’s partners and affiliates, unless clearly specified at the time of collection.

Data retention periods

The data is stored and kept for the time necessary to achieve the intended purpose. The aforementioned data will be deleted at the latest 5 years after the last contact with the person who provided the data.
